The Deep Dark threat

Mojang has confirmed that Minecraft Dungeons II's story centres on a new large-scale threat connected to the Deep Dark and Ancient Cities. The Twisted Warden and the soul-corrupted mobs are both tied to it — the Warden by name, the corrupted mobs by being described as vanilla Minecraft creatures altered by that threat.

What that corruption changes mechanically has not been stated. Whether corrupted mobs behave differently from their vanilla counterparts, or simply look different, is unconfirmed.

The copper enemies

Two copper-themed enemies have been named: the Copper Monstrosity, described as large, and the Copper Cube, a variant. Both were shown in reveal footage rather than detailed in writing, which is why nothing beyond their appearance and name is recorded here.

Copper as an enemy theme is new to the series — the original Minecraft Dungeons had no copper-based enemies. Whether it points to a dedicated area, a faction, or simply a visual motif has not been announced.

What is still unknown

  • Health, damage or any other statistic — none have been published
  • Attack patterns, abilities and resistances
  • Which enemies are regular mobs, mini-bosses or full bosses
  • Where each one appears in the world
  • The full enemy roster beyond the four named below
  • Whether enemies from the original Minecraft Dungeons return

On enemy statistics: fan-made stat sheets and mini-boss concepts circulate on Reddit and community sites, sometimes with precise-looking health and damage numbers. None of them come from Mojang. No enemy statistics exist publicly for Minecraft Dungeons II, and this page will not carry invented ones.

Frequently asked

What is the Copper Monstrosity in Minecraft Dungeons II? Official preview

A large copper-themed enemy shown in the reveal footage. No mechanical detail has been confirmed.

It appears alongside a smaller variant, the Copper Cube. Mojang has not stated whether either is a regular enemy, a mini-boss or a boss, and no statistics have been published.

How many enemies are confirmed in Minecraft Dungeons II? Official preview

Four have been named so far: the Twisted Warden, soul-corrupted mobs, the Copper Monstrosity and the Copper Cube.

The full roster has not been announced. More will almost certainly be shown before the September 29, 2026 launch.

Are there boss fights in Minecraft Dungeons II? Official preview

The Twisted Warden is described as a boss-adjacent figure, but Mojang has not confirmed a boss list.

Nothing published so far distinguishes bosses from regular enemies, so any boss list circulating online is speculation.

Do Minecraft Dungeons II enemies have known stats? Unverified

No. No health, damage or resistance value has been published for any enemy.

Fan-made stat sheets and mini-boss concepts circulate on Reddit and elsewhere. They are proposals, not announcements, and none of their numbers come from Mojang.
