The first Minecraft Dungeons gave you one armour slot. Dungeons II gives you four, each equipped on its own — the demo build's inventory shows them as a row of four, and each has its own picker holding everything you are carrying for that slot.
Every name below belongs to a family, and each family runs to between two and five pieces — Disciple Armor, Disciple Robe, Disciple Leggings, Disciple Wraps; Rover and Wood reach five. Which of the four slots each piece fills has not been published, so this catalogue lists them without assigning slots it cannot source.

What upgrading a piece costs
Armour upgrades at the Blacksmith like anything else, and two pieces were priced on camera: Redstone Shinguards, a Rare, cost 62 emeralds to go from item power 18 to 20, and the Rover Pauldrons, a Unique, cost 182 for the same two levels. Rarity, not the number of levels bought, is what moves the price. The full price table is on the gear system page.
