Minecraft Dungeons II tier list

Which gear is best?

There is no trustworthy Minecraft Dungeons II tier list yet: the game launched on September 29, 2026, and no release-build tests exist. DungeonsDB places gear only after a dated in-game test at matched item power, separately for bosses, clearing, solo and co-op. Until then, the sourced effects below are the reliable data. Unranked means untested, not weak.

Awaiting launch testing

There is not enough verified data here to award S/A/B placements. Use the sourced equipment records to inspect known effects while comparisons are being verified. Unranked means untested, not weak.

How to judge gear

Weapons

Compare sustained damage, reach, attack commitment and enchantment triggers at matched item power. A high preview item-power value is not evidence of a stronger weapon type.

Armor

Compare each armor slot's defensive value and effects at matched power. A useful piece depends on which weapon, artifacts and other armor pieces the loadout uses.

Enchantments

Check compatible equipment, trigger frequency and tier values together. An effect that needs a kill may be less useful during a boss phase without additional enemies.

Talismans

Compare passive effects, their conditions and their contribution to the whole loadout. Keep the talisman's progression level consistent between tests.

Artifacts

Compare the active effect against its soul cost, cooldown and uptime. Include defensive and co-op utility rather than judging every artifact by damage alone.

Each placement needs an observable release-build test, game version, review date, test conditions, a reason and a limitation. Compare like-for-like difficulty, power and supporting equipment; separate boss fights, clearing, early game, endgame, solo and co-op. A result in one context does not establish another.

S means an exceptional option in the stated test context; A is a strong choice; B is a useful option with tradeoffs; C is situational; D had substantial limitations in that comparison. These are editorial judgments, not universal damage scores.

Choose a complete loadout

Once a placement fits your playstyle, inspect the item's enchantments, build links and acquisition notes. A strong isolated effect does not establish a strong combination.
