Enchantments

Two enchantments have been shown in full, with all three tier values on screen. The other eleven are named but not detailed.

The gamescom 2026 demo opened the Enchantsmith on camera, and two books were shown with all three of their tier values: Healing Smite and Ender Mines. Those are the only Minecraft Dungeons II enchantments with published mechanics — the other eleven named so far carry a name and nothing else.

These are preview-build numbers. Mojang has not published an enchantment list, and a show build's balance is the first thing to change before release — the values below are what the game displayed in August 2026, not a final table.

What applying one costs

An enchantment is applied at the Enchantment Table, and the demo showed the price on screen: Ender Mines I on Pride of the Plains, with the next tier costing 1 emerald and 5 gold. Tier II was locked behind a merchant level the demo player had not reached. Disenchanting was offered alongside it, so a book is not a permanent commitment to the item it goes on.

Where the Enchantsmith is

The Enchantsmith is a villager merchant with a stall in the overworld rather than a menu — the demo found them in Wading Rainy Plains, at merchant level 1, with a 30-emerald price to level them up. Levelling the merchant is what unlocks the higher tiers and the re-roll action.
