The Copper Monstrosity

The Copper Monstrosity is the one Dungeons II boss with confirmed attacks. Xbox Wire's gamescom 2026 write-up describes it using lightning attacks and arena-wide dashes — the first mechanical detail Mojang has published for any enemy in the game. It was playable in the gamescom demo build.

It is a Monstrosity in the series sense: the first Minecraft Dungeons had the Redstone Monstrosity as a campaign boss, and the mob index lists that one as returning alongside the copper version. A third, sculk-themed Monstrosity appears in footage, though its name is a wiki placeholder rather than an official label.

The Copper Cube is a separate, smaller copper enemy from the same footage, and a regular mob rather than a boss. No attacks, statistics or drops have been published for it.

Frequently asked

How many bosses are in Minecraft Dungeons II? Official preview

6 are confirmed so far: 4 bosses and 2 mini-bosses. Mojang has not published a definitive list.

The named bosses are the Twisted Warden, the Copper Monstrosity, the Redstone Monstrosity and a sculk Monstrosity. The Warden and the Enderman are listed as mini-bosses. More will almost certainly be shown before the September 29, 2026 launch.

What is the Copper Monstrosity in Minecraft Dungeons II? Official preview

A boss that fights with lightning attacks and arena-wide dashes, playable in the gamescom 2026 demo.

It is the only Minecraft Dungeons II enemy with confirmed attacks — Xbox Wire described them in its gamescom write-up. A smaller variant, the Copper Cube, appears in the same footage with no detail published. No health or damage numbers exist for either.

What is the difference between a boss and a mini-boss? Community reported

The Dungeons II mob index splits them by health bar: a boss gets a large dedicated bar, a mini-boss a smaller one at the top of the screen.

That is the wiki's own classification, not an inference here. It is why the Warden and the Enderman sit apart from the Monstrosities, which carry full boss bars.

Do Minecraft Dungeons II bosses have known stats? Unverified

No. No health, damage or resistance value has been published for any boss in the game.

Fan-made stat sheets circulate with precise-looking numbers. None come from Mojang, and this page will not carry invented ones.
